The PE-C-RE sensors have the electronics in a separate module from the pyroelectric sensor. This allows a very compact smart sensor where space is limited. The sensor module can be designed to fit the host system. Otherwise, the performance is similar to a PE-C smart sensor with the same size sensor crystal.
