In this interview, Sneha shares insights into her personal interests, professional journey, and the strategic projects shaping Ophir’s future. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

My family is truly the center of my life. Reading with my son and spending quality playtime together are the highlights of my day.

I also have a deep love for reading; my personal goal is to finish at least one book a month. While I used to enjoy novels and science fiction, my interests have recently shifted toward personal development and leadership. One book I particularly enjoyed is “How to Listen“, which offered powerful insights into communication and empathy.

Another passion of mine is music. I take weekly flute lessons and enjoy listening to Hindustani classical music, especially instruments like the flute, santoor, and violin. It’s a beautiful way to unwind and connect with tradition.

Cooking is my creative outlet, especially on weekends. I love preparing special dishes inspired by my favorite restaurants and places I’ve visited, it’s a way to bring travel memories into my kitchen.

And then there’s travel itself, I’ve been to about 13 countries so far. For me, the best part isn’t just the places but meeting people and exploring culture through food. Each trip leaves me with new stories, flavors, and memories to bring home.

What’s the best aspect of the work you do?

The best aspect of my work is the balance of people and product. I love working with people, whether it’s customers, cross-cultural, or cross-functional teams and driving us together toward success at Ophir. At the same time, I’m deeply passionate about the product side: learning new things, bringing in fresh ideas, and turning them into real implementations that push our products forward. I like driving our products to success by reinforcing quality, making sure they stand out in the market, and finding new opportunities where we can make a real impact.

What are some current projects you are working on?

I’m currently leading roadmap development for two of our core beam profiling solutions: the M² portfolio and Pyrocam.

Ophir is an industry leader in M² measurement solutions, and our diverse portfolio allows us to support a wide range of customer needs. I’m deeply involved in driving the M² products, from gathering customer requirements to realizing the product and launching it to market. My focus is to deliver solutions that resolve pain points of customers and deliver the right value to Market.

In parallel, I’m working on the Pyrocam roadmap, which is one of our most unique offerings. I’m focused on keeping it aligned with evolving market needs. It’s all about making sure we deliver the right products at the right time, with the right impact. These projects are exciting because they combine strategic thinking with hands-on collaboration, and they directly contribute to how customers experience Ophir’s innovation.

As new applications emerge, how is Ophir advancing its expertise to keep pace?

At Ophir, we make sure we’re ahead of the game. We actively track new industry trends and emerging applications to keep our knowledge and product offerings up to date. Our portfolio is intentionally diverse so we can support a wide range of customer needs across different sectors.

We showcase our advanced solutions at leading industry events, which helps us stay connected to the broader ecosystem and share our innovations with the market. But what truly sets us apart is our close relationship with customers, we’re deeply engaged in solving their high-value problems and aligning with their roadmaps.

Our products are designed to address real challenges, and we work collaboratively to ensure they deliver meaningful impact. This customer-centric approach is key to how we evolve our expertise and maintain our leadership in beam profiling and laser measurement solutions.

How has your role evolved since you first joined the Ophir team?

When I first joined Ophir, I brought with me strong experience in customer-focused roles and deep knowledge of the semiconductor industry. My initial focus was on expanding my understanding of Ophir’s products and laser optics so I could better support customers and help solve their technical challenges.

In the beginning, I was actively involved in market research, technical problem-solving, and supporting product line decisions. Over time, my role has grown significantly. Today, I lead strategic projects, drive product roadmaps, and play a key role in shaping product line strategy.

I’ve evolved from being a strong individual contributor to a collaborative leader, someone who confidently leads customer engagements, guides product development, and ensures our solutions deliver real value. It’s been a journey of growth, learning, and increasing impact.

Ophir provides an excellent platform where a person can achieve their maximum potential. The environment here has enabled me to grow professionally and personally, and I’m grateful for the opportunities to make a meaningful impact.
