What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Ran: Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, especially on outdoor trips. I love visiting springs and streams, going fishing, and simply enjoying good company. These moments recharge me and give me new, fresh energy.

What’s the best aspect of the work you do?

Ran: I really enjoy analyzing challenges, finding creative solutions, and thinking about how to improve both our products and our processes. It’s rewarding to know that every improvement leads to a higher-quality product for our customers.

What is your favorite part of your work?

Ran: The collaboration. At Ophir, I truly feel the teamwork and the shared desire to move things forward together. Working with a team that’s fully committed to excellence makes every project more enjoyable and meaningful.

What do you like most about Ophir’s in-house collaboration between different areas?

Ran: What I appreciate most is the openness and the willingness to work together. Whether it’s design, production, or any other department, everyone is focused on the same goal: delivering the highest-quality product. The close in-house collaboration helps us solve issues quickly, share knowledge efficiently, and continuously improve.

What are the biggest takeaways from your latest product development project?

Ran: One of the key takeaways was the importance of close collaboration, both internally and with the customer. The project included unique requirements and several new technical challenges that were unfamiliar to the company. By working closely together, we aligned expectations, developed the required capabilities, and met the project timeline despite the difficulties.
This experience reinforced how critical strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility are in achieving the desired results.
