The 100C-BB-18-SH is a thin profile thermal power laser sensor 14.5mm thick with mounting threads and with an 18mm aperture. It can measure from 60mW to 4W free standing and 100W when heat sinked. It does not measure energy. It has the spectrally flat broadband coating covering the spectral range from 0.19 to 11µm.

What is the dynamic range of OEM sensors?

In general, the dynamic range over a given range, i.e. the ratio of maximum useable power to minimum useable power of Ophir thermal OEM sensors is 40:1. If greater dynamic range is desired, Ophir OEM RS232 sensors are available with several selectable ranges.

Do I need to recalibrate my instrument? How often must it be recalibrated?

Unless otherwise indicated, Ophir sensors and meters should be recalibrated within 18 months after initial purchase, and then once a year after that.
