I love cycling and hiking, both of which give me a chance to explore the outdoors while staying fit. Gardening is another passion of mine. I find it incredibly rewarding to nurture plants and watch them grow from seedlings into full grown plants. My creativity is fed by singing and playing the guitar. I find it a great way to relax and express myself musically. I seem to always look for things to \u201cfix\u201d because it satisfies my curiosity and nurtures my problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You have had a very broad career history. What led you to become a Quality Manager?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have always had a passion for tinkering &#8211; fixing things and understanding how machines work. Naturally, it led me to pursue a career in engineering, starting with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, followed by an MSc in Material Engineering. Over the years, I worked in a wide range of roles, including a process engineer, R&amp;D engineer, and manufacturing manager. In one way or another, all of those jobs helped me become a better engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How does Ophir add value to the photonics manufacturing process for customers?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ophir\u2019s creativity, customer-oriented approach, intelligence, and ethical standards collectively make a game-changing impact on the photonics manufacturing process. We not only develop and manufacture products in-house, but we also provide accredited ISO 17025 calibration services.
