--smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 626\/277;\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p> This caused enlarged focus in working plane and reduced power density resulting in highly porous product and strength problems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on BeamWatch AM measurement, the operator\nwas able to analyze that Beam delivery was poorly adjusted causing\nundesired irradiation of the component along the machining path so that part of\nthe laser power was diverted resulting in diffraction and thermal effects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this case, compared to the\nreal time caustic measurement done by <strong>BeamWatch AM<\/strong> the single cross\nsection of classic Beam Profiling provides insufficient information for\nadequate troubleshooting;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10412 lazyload\" width=\"614\" height=\"223\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ophiropt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture2.png 723w, https:\/\/www.ophiropt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture2-300x110.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ophiropt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture2-24x9.png 24w, https:\/\/www.ophiropt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture2-36x13.png 36w, https:\/\/www.ophiropt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture2-48x18.png 48w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 614px) 100vw, 614px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 614px;
