The new Spiricon SP series USB 2.0 beam profiler cameras are the first such CCD cameras designed from the ground up for beam profiling. They have the thin profile, wide dynamic range, unparalleled signal to noise and built in triggering circuitry to make them ideal for measuring CW and pulsed laser profiles. They are also suitable for customizing and OEM applications.

Quasar Wireless Interface
Ophir now presents a whole new way to measure laser power/energy with its Quasar Bluetooth wireless interface. Just plug any Ophir smart head into the battery operated Quasar and it will broadcast to any PC or laptop with 10 meters. No clutter on your workbench and no long cables to worry about. Now you have a solution for hard to measure situations such as a glove box or high power laser behind barriers.
The Quasar is also available mounted directly on the measuring head for most Ophir thermal heads.
An extended range version is available with range up to 60 meters.

Vega Handheld Color Display
Ophir announces the new color handheld Vega. This laser power/energy meter display has a high visibility color display and lighted buttons making it easy to work under all conditions. It has all the same versatile, easy to use features you expect from Ophir displays and works with all Ophir thermal, photodiode and pyroelectric smart heads. The color display makes it easy to follow trends, see warning signals and allows you to choose the most visible color for use with laser protection glasses.

Pulsar
The new Pulsar Smart Head to PC Interface from Ophir Optronics enables you to turn your PC or laptop into a full fledged Ophir multi-channel laser power/energy meter.
Just install the software, plug the head and power source into the interface box and the USB cable from the box to the PC USB port. Using the Pulsar, you can connect up to 4 heads to each box.
The connection from there to the PC is via one USB cable. The Pulsar allows you to record pulse energies at up to 20,000 Hz for all 4 channels simultaneously. An external trigger input enables measurement of missing pulses. The application allows tiling of up to 8 heads on one screen. ActiveX Interface (Ophir FastX) meter heads is supported, so that you can control the USBI from your own software. There are also 2 channel and 1 channel versions of this device available.
Ophir announces a new large aperture pyroelectric head model PE100BB-DIF. The head has a large aperture of Ø96mm and is equipped with a removable diffuser for high damage threshold. PE100BB-DIF can measure energies up to 40J.
Large Aperture 65mm Diameter Thermal Heads for up to 500W
Ophir now features large aperture 65mm diameter heads. The new
series includes the L50(300)A and L50(300)A-LP1 heads for continuous
use to 50W and intermittent to 300W and the fan cooled FL500A
for continuous use to 500W.
IPL sources are very difficult to measure since they are optically
coupled to the skin with gel. The new Ophir IPL head has a glass
window to which the IPL can be optically coupled to give an
accurate simulation of its intended use. It can measure IPL
energies up to 300J with an accuracy of 6% and with the Nova
display can show the results in units of J/cm.
High
Damage Threshold LP1 Coatings for Long Pulse Lasers
Ophir now has available a number of thermal power/energy heads
with the new LP1 coating. This broadband coating has the highest
existing damage threshold for long pulse lasers. The damage
threshold is 50J/cm for 2ms pulses and 250J/cm for 10ms pulses
5 times that previously available. It is available on a number
of heads. Pictured is the L40(150)A-LP1
