Ophir LabVIEW VIs - Version 5.00

The Ophir VIs gives a complete measurement interface with Ophir's device.

The library for the devices support was developed in LabVIEW 8.6.1

Note: The Ophir VIs library requires version 4.6.2 of NI-VISA.

LabVIEW support for Juno, USBI, Nova II and Vega

Download LabVIEW library Ophir Instrument OphInstr.llb (324 KB) and copy to your target directory.

To configure windows to operate with Ophir LabView VIs:
At Ophir, we developed USB drivers for use with our StarLab PC application. National Instruments USB drivers work in a different manner. Ophir drivers are not compatible with NI VISA communication. NI drivers are not compatible with Ophir's StarLab PC application.

The SwapINF utility configures Windows to associate the Ophir device with NI VISA’s usb driver when LabVIEW is selected. It configures Windows to associate the Ophir device with the appropriate Ophir usb drivers (windrvr6.sys) when StarLab is selected.

REMINDER: To work with LabVIEW, NI-VISA 4.6.2 or higher (from National Instruments) must also be installed.

Download and run SwapINF . Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the USB speaking device (Juno, USBI, Vega or Nova-II) for LabVIEW or StarLab PC work as desired.
