Ophir-Spiricon’s Sensor Finder Used in Lasers
AZO sensors
Ophir-Spiricon, an international provider of accurate laser measurement systems, has launched an offline software application called Sensor Finder, which enables the customers to identify the most appropriate energy or power sensor for use in laser. The company has also included Russian and Chinese languages to their web site apart from English, Dutch and Japanese.
The offline version furnishes the same features as that of the online mode, providing access to everyone. The users need to record the essential laser characteristics as well as the type of calibration they require r and the Sensor Finder software exhibits an entire record of the energy/power sensors supplied by Ophir-Spiricon that can operate with the laser under specific conditions. The Sensor Finder computes and exhibits the energy and power density of the laser, the destruction level of the sensing devices under the stated conditions, and explains which sensors are suitable to operate with the laser specifications. The software program also calculates the extent of damage so that the customer can select a sensor which is below the damage limit. The sensors which have been recommended are displayed in the report.
The Sensor Finder can operate with Windows 7, XP or Vista and needs Microsoft Office 2003 or its higher version support.

Offline Sensor Finder Application from Ophir-Spiricon
AZO optics
The Sensor Finder application offers the same functionalities as the online version. Users can enter the type of measurement and laser characteristics that are needed. The Sensor Finder application then offers a list of power/energy sensors from Ophir-Spiricon. These sensors, along with their laser, operate under the mentioned conditions.
The Sensor Finder determines and shows the laser’s energy and power density and the resultant destruction limit of the sensor under the stated conditions. The Sensor Finder determines which sensors can work with the laser specification.
The application also displays how close a user is to the damage threshold, so that the user can select a sensor, which is below the damage threshold. The selected sensors laser can be saved in a report layout. The Sensor Finder is compatible with Windows 7, Vista or XP operating systems and needs Microsoft Office 2003.

Ophir-Spiricon Introduces Offline Sensor Finder Application
Photonics Online
Ophir-Spiricon, the global leader in precision laser measurement, recently introduced an offline version of Sensor Finder, a software application that helps users find the best power/energy sensor for their laser. The company also added Chinese and Russian languages to its web site, bringing the total number of languages supported to five.
Designed for users that don't have regular access to the Internet, such as military personnel, the offline version of Sensor Finder provides the same capabilities as the online version. Users input laser characteristics and the type of measurement required (power only or energy and power); the software then provides a list of Ophir-Spiricon power/energy sensors that are guaranteed to work with their laser under the stated conditions. Sensor Finder calculates and displays the power and energy density of the laser, the damage limit of the sensors under these conditions, and determines which sensors are guaranteed to perform with the laser specs. The program also shows how close one is to the damage threshold so the user can choose a sensor that is well below the damage threshold. Recommended sensors can be saved in report format.
