The beams’ size, shape, uniformity or approximation to the expected power distribution, as well as its divergence and mode content can make or break an application. Accurate knowledge of these parameters is essential to the success of any laser-based endeavor. As laser applications push the boundaries of laser performance it is becoming more critical to understand the operating criteria.

For over thirty years Ophir-Spiricon has developed instruments to accurately measure critical laser parameters. Our LBA and BeamStar software have led the way. The Spiricon M2–200 Beam Propagation Analyzer is the only ISO 11146 compliant on the market. It will automatically measure your beam focusability in as little as 3 minutes. Manual version is available. The M2-200S maintains or leadership position providing the only ISO compliant system for all reported measurements. The high speed optical train uses a fixed position lens, and automatically translates the image on the camera from the near field to the far field. Manual mode is available.
