The ModeCheck collimated CO2 laser beam profiling system accurately captures and analyzes industrial lasers of wavelengths around 10.6µm by sampling a percentage of the beam with a spinning mirror. It features an almost complete passthrough beam measurement technique in a lightweight compact design which makes it ideal for periodic performance measurements of CO2 cutting and welding lasers.

- ModeCheck Beam Analysis SoftwareModeCheck comes with its own full-function software is designed with a simple interface for both laser technicians and every day laser users. It provides all of the calculations real-time and a customizable under interface with the ease-of-use and flexibility that customers have come to expect.
I have damaged my fluorescent imaging plate. Can I replace it or do I need to send it back to the factory for repair?
The fluorescent plate was designed to be field replaceable and can be ordered. The part number to order is 11597-103 and it can be ordered by contacting our service department at firstname.lastname@example.org.Close
Why will my ModeCheck not finish its background calibration cycle?
The ModeCheck background calibration cycle may get stuck due to some environmental conditions which cause the wand position to become difficult to determine. You may be able to restore operation by cleaning the back side of the wand where the wand passes the optical sensor.Close
Does the ModeCheck work at wavelengths other than 10.6μm CO2?
The fluorescent plate only responds to wavelengths from 9-11μm. All lasers within this range will work with the ModeCheck.Close
Can I correlate my power meter reading from my Ophir sensor with the data from the ModeCheck?
Yes, click on the Computations tab and enter the reading from your Ophir power meter equipment into the Calibration Value editbox on the Power panel and click on the Calibrate button (checkmark) to correlate the Ophir power meter reading with your beam profile.Close

Watch as this operator tunes his laser.
Dr. Roundy, early laser diagnostic pioneer, explains why it is important to measure your laser beam.
ModeCheck enables Quality Cutting, Marking, Drilling & Ablating. Instantaneously "see" and measure your beam and reduce set-up time between jobs. ModeCheck provides real-time "mode burns" - eliminate hazardous acrylic vapors. Optimize your lasers efficiency - reduce cost per part, predict laser preventative maintenance, increase manufacturing efficiency. Visit www.ophiropt.com/photonics for details.
