Ophir silicon mirrors provide excellent reflection of 10.6 um CO2 beams for increased power and durability. Additionally, HeNe beams can be used for quicker adjustment and more precise alignment. Ophir mirrors are OEM-approved and available in a range of durable and easy-to-clean coatings. These include PLM, MMR, MMR-A, MMR-P and MMR-H for better polarization control and enhanced reflectivity for internal mirrors, as well as 0PS and 90PS for beam delivery optics. Finally, the mirrors have a phase shift tolerance of ±2, for superior cutting and cleaning capabilities.
Clear Magic™ features the same unique characteristics of its Black Magic™ counterpart while providing the benefits of a coating transparent to visible light. The new lens uses the same top layer as Black Magic™ which offers superior cleaning properties and scratch resistance. Its transparent coating allows HeNe beams to be seen on the work piece, while polarizing filters help to detect thermally-induced stress. Clear Magic™ is available in 1.5” and 2” diameters for most popular OEM systems.
Without any screws or small springs to contend with, EZ-Mount features a turn-to-open mechanism enabling quick, safe removal of lenses for on-the-spot cleaning, focal length adjustment or replacement. With EZ-Mount, an O-Ring replaces the potentially toxic indium wire used in traditional mounts. It is also more cost-effective than traditional mounts because it is completely reusable and saves time on lens maintenance.
Composed of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), a recyclable plastic widely used in the beverage industry, EZ-Pack is both environmentally-friendly and durable. Due to EZ-Pack’s innovative design, the lens practically “floats” within its enclosure, eliminating the need for wrapping paper and a plastic bag. Because no material comes in contact with the optical surfaces, there is no potentially dirt of loose fibers to contend and no cleaning is required prior to mounting. Every unit is vacuum-sealed to prevent humidity and extend the lens' shelf-life.
The result of many months of research and testing, EZ-Clean has been developed specifically for CO2 laser optics. Composed of special non-scratch fabric, the wipe deposits a pre-measured amount of quickdrying cleaning fluid that leaves no residue.
The EZ-Clean package comes with 24 ready-to-use wipes, in which one wipe cleans one lens in a matter of seconds.
